Curling

Tom J got another 10/10 crash when he sent in this big time smash. He used a CGW freight train and rammed it into six freight cars/wagons at over 420 mph creating carnage and chaos. Excellent first picture.

LAPD Crash

Tom J sent in this crash of a freight train smashing its way off a dock and into the water. The loco was an LAPD train which appaently plays music as a horn and has a police siren. Dont think either work underwater though! CHECK TOM J's VIDEO OF THE TRAIN

Pass Through

Tom J crashed a freight train into another train at over 85 MPH. There was a third train beside it, but strangly, the derailing cars from the first two trains didn't really do anything with the third train; they seemingly passed through the cars!

Fun on the NEC

Chris sent in these random crashes which all feature different trains on the North East Corridoor. No further details of the crashes but the pictures speak for themselves. Aclea passenger train derails and headon with BNSF locos, also some classic steam action into a building.

VIA Hill Smash

Tom J crashed this VIA train after running at over 100mph off the end of the line and into a tunnel mouth making the coaches scatter everywhere.

Super Dash Crash

This crash was sent into me featuring some supercharged Dash 9's going a a mad pace into the side of a mountain. "Here I crashed 100 Supercharged Dash 9's off of the Full Bucket Line. The 9's were doing about 2,500 MPH."

Bridge Drop

Cheeku Hathras sent this crash in which has a Tangara passing through a high bridge near Glacier Park but apparently it derailed. We like it when things derail in train sim, good work!

Slammer Slam

Damon Cox sent in this crash on the London to Brighton line with a CIG Slamdoor train smashing into a 2 car Electrostar at Selhurst causing lots of carriages to come off the line.

TRS 2006 Crashes

Its not MSTS but who cares, I was sent this crash where what looks to be the Flying Scotsman or similar has seriously run out of track and had its coaches flung across the map.

Clear For Lift Off

Cheeku Hathras sent in this crash where an AMD 103 collided with some coaches whilst shunting on the Fullbuckey route leaving the loco reaching for the sky just like the rocket alongside.

Weirdness

Not exactly crashes but here are some weird things Tom has found in MSTS. One with a diesel steam combo and one where the observation coach seems to have lost its wheels.

Tunnel Mouth Madness

Tom J sent in these seperate crashes which ended up with two very big smashes ending up on the mouth of a tunnel. Both ran out of track and ended up smashing into the hill creating more carnage.

Spot the difference

Multi Line Hit

TGV vs Corner

Ian Mills caught the derailment of a TGV after it failed to go round a corner at 300KMH. Apparently this was an accident as he was actually aiming for a bufferstop further up the line... better luck next time!

Tom J created this crash. "I crashed a freight train into the rear of a passenger train at over 415 MPH causing this massive crash. (Ironically, this crash happened at the location Massive on the Kicking Horse Pass route!) In the crash, the lead loco of the passenger train actually sank into the ground!"

LMS Smash

Liam Ellem sent this crash in. "Running Express through Carlisle, the driver noticed something was wrong when he hit that buffer at 68MPH or so...silly signalmen! The loco flew up, the tender smashed the side, the first coach fell on it's side and the last coach went off the rails...but amazingly, the second coach got out unharmed!"

GTA Crash Site

Tom J has been playing Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and managed to fine the train in the game. True to his normal standards he managed to crash it in a brilliant style. To add to the fun I have put up a sort of crash I created in the same game. As originality goes, this is brilliant.

The Train That Did Not Move

Multiple Train Crash

Tom J created a crash similar to one where a Santa Fe intermodel train running away and crashing into a Union Pacific freight train. When I did this crash, part of the Santa Fe train kept going, right through the Union Pacific train.

More Turbo Troubles

Two crashes here from Tom J have some serious troubles, the first shows a result of a high speed head on crash which left only one coach on the ground and the other spells a tricky clean up operation for the authorities.

Steam Derail

James Anderson sent in this series showing an american steamer, 4-6-2 #566 going around a sharp curve at 108mph. Most of the 7 coaches it was pulling stayed on the track but the rest of the engine smashed into the road below.

Out Of Track

Tom J sent this smash which resulted in a derail on an elevated piece of track after he ran out of track causing most of the train to slip off. The wagons that stayed up right eventually smashed into the derailed wagons causing more damage.
