MBTA smash

"I crashed a train of repainted Series 2000 cars into an MBTA commuter train at 215 km/h and these pics show the result" More good work from Tom as he creates a nice mess taking out all 4 lines.

7/10 15/4/2005

Clapham Approach

This derail again from Russell Burgess is of a 319 Thameslink on the London-Brighton route, and just as he approached Clapham Junction. Its a tricky corner even when your not trying to crash!

8/10 6/4/2005

Quality Control Testing

It maybe Trainz but it still an interesting crash sent in by Russell Burgess "I decided to take a fictious Class 475 for a wander on a fictious layout (Holman Valley – From a railway plan track book), got near the last leg of the journey and found my track monkey’s had been out! In other words, it crossed a bridge and I found the track wasn’t aligned properly. I found this out 3 or 4 incidents later!" Cant be too careful with route creation!

7/10 6/4/2005

Tunnel Trouble

We haven't had a tunnel crash in a while so here is Tom with a freight train derailing and crashing at over 600mph.

8/10 6/4/2005

Up and away

"Here are two crashes which involve a freight train colliding with a handcart and helicopter while in a tunnel. The third is a derail on a switch on the Marias Pass which went into a building. Great stuff!

8/10 25/3/2005

Thomas Style

The pic is taken at 2 miles of the bufferstop and the train reaches the horizon line before stops."

8/10 19/1/2005

A UFO in passing

This crash again from Tom shows what happens when a passenger train tries to pass a UFO on the adjacent track. The width of the UFO actually covers the adjacent lines and should a train try to pass it, it will crash. Rather interesting!

7/10 19/1/2005

No information at all about this one from JarOfWar but the picture speaks for itself!

9/10 9/1/2005

8/10 9/1/2005

10/10 4/1/2005

9/10 4/1/2005

8/10 1/1/2005

Another from Tom, this time he captures a red streak flying across the snowy sky... could it be Santa? No its just a CP Holiday train hitting head on with a steam train at 440mph!

8/10 1/1/2005

9/10 1/1/2005
