The new Virgin venture into river boating didnt
seem to pay off as this crash from Adam show
7/10 8/1/03

 |
Head On
Tom Jankowski
sent in this crash of his super charged Dash 9 going head on into a commuter
train. Plus he got it on the road, something I love to do
8/10 27/12/02
|
 |
Virgin
Adam also sent in this nice crash of the 220
Virgin Voyager having a meeting with a wall!
9/10 27/12/02
|

 |
The Best Ever?
Adam seems to think these are the best crashes
ever... he isnt far off. A great crash with the TGV and then it turns into one
of our favorite type of crashes... the rocket train!
As for the best ever... ill let you decide.
10/10 27/12/02
|
 |
Ground Force
Alan T and Co's new garden feature caused a Riot
with the neighbours. Nice one Alex!
9/10 16/12/2
|
 |
Super Dash
Tom used his super charged Dash 9's and sent in
this picture. Another mad midair crash that just takes the biscuit
9/10 13/12/02
|
 |
Extream Rocket Train
There are some people who just want to show off
and Alex has done so with this picture. If you look closely you can just make
out something in the distance... its just silly
8/10 13/12/02
|
 |
Spot the track
Nathan sent in this crash showing just how far a
train can derail if you really let it
6/10 13/12/02
|

 |
A Real Rocket Train
Eric Dennison was doing 999mph in this
"train" until he hit a bump on the track... the results show it really
flying away.
8/10 3/12/02
|

 |
More Derails
Tom Jankowski sent in some more crashes.
The first is an Amtrak wreck on Marias Pass. The second is a Conrail train in
the water. The last is of a CB&Q train crashing
in Japan. Another quality camera angle!
8/10 16/11/02
|

 |
Various
Tom Jankowski sent in these 3 crashes including one of a 5
car BC Rail train crashing in the snow of Japan. The second is a quality shot as
am Amtrak engine finds its way down a cliff face.
9/10 12/11/02
|

 |
Derailed SD
Andrew displayed what happens when the BNSF SD uncouples
at high speed!
7/10 29/10/02
|

 |
TGV Derail
Eric sent in these series of pictures of the TGV coming
off the rails. Some nice detail on that train adds to the crash.
8/10 6/10/02
|

 |
Overspeed
Andrew Roylance sent in these 2 pics of an overspeed on
the NE Corridor
7/10 6/10/02

 |
More madness
Here are some more from Philip showing some of his
airborne pics. Great air on the American cars!
9/10 6/10/02
|

 |
American Carnage
Philip has sent in a massive amount of crashes... this is
a nice starter I think... almost a before and after. I like it!
9/10 25/9/02
|

 |
Bouncy
Here are a selection of bouncing train pics from Billy
Hall. Great to see the Flying Scotsman..... flying! Good work and its set to get
better. Look forward to it!

|
 |
APT.... Still a
prototype
Alex Fairlie Drove The
APT-P Down The North East Corridor, And Drove Over A 100ish mph Bend at 140, And
This Fine Mess Happened.

|

 |
Realism?
This may happen if you don't stick to the 300 km/h limit
of the very nice
TGV route. Allthough Peter does question if a powerhead would tip over in
reality.
9/10 30/8/02
|
 |
Crashed 91
Flob comes back to form with this great looking crash
featuring the GNER class 91. Think flob as been fiddling with a cam hack heh
10/10 30/8/02
|
 |
Welcome to the West
No information came with this picture, but I just think
its funny... so there!
9/10 21/8/02
|
 |
Lukes Crash
This is a crash from out youngest fan. Flob's son Luke who
is 4 in October showed us all how it should be done! I doubt this will be the last we will see
from the lil guy.
9/10 20/8/02
|

 |
Rocket Train
Ari Koivunen found a nice hill and turned a train into a
rocket... with a nice bit of diesel smoke you could mistake it for a rocket!
10/10 3/8/02
|
 |
Rolling UP
The massive Union Pacific on its roof.... how? I wonder
myself great work though
9/10 23/7/02
|
 |
Upwards
Not quite sure what train this is, but it looks good
enough as it is
7/10 23/7/02
|
 |
FLYING Scotsman
Ari Koivunen made sure the Flying Scotsman lived up to its
name.... shame it was heading for a forest.
8/10 23/7/02
|
 |
Bridge it
"crash and burn, or splash, we were trying to cross a
bridge in marias pass but this is the result...???"
Not a bad result at that
8/10 18/7/02
|

 |
Testing the 60
When Flob was reviewing the class 60, he took it through
some tough trials as the pics show. Looks nice enough though.
7/10 9/7/02
|
 |
Hills
Another of Sean's great pics, bit tame to follow the one
below but still a great shot. Seems the Deltic wanted to go its own way.
9/10 9/7/02
|

 |
The East Coast
Mainline
This has to be our best set of crashes we have recieved
yet. When Sean sent them to me i yelled "WOW" then burst out laughing.
This is very excessive and very big and did i mention very good.
Text really cant put this into perspective so have a look
for yourself
11/10 9/7/02
|
 |
Compressed
Sean then decided to compress some tankers with deltics...
nice enough
9/7/02 7/10
|
 |
Flying 55's
Sean took his earlier flying Deltic pic to another extreme.
9/7/02 8/10
|

 |
4 head ons are
better than 1
4 Eurostars going head to head on the Woodhead
Route. They didn't work out as well as Sean hoped so he moved on to diesels
which resulted in... well the kind of mess and destruction we have grown to love
on the site. Another great set of pics
9/7/02 10/10
|

 |
Size DOES matter!
I think this is Sean at work again and he has produced a
stunning mass crash. Another Field shot as well of a EWS 67. I know I said CIGs
cut through the country side of Sussex but I think that pic is taking it a step
too far. Great work
10/10 6/7/02
|

 |
MS Flight/Train
sim
Sean proved that the 55 Deltic is still a force to be
reckoned with... even the force of gravity didnt stop these beasts from going
airborne... Brilliant
10/10 6/7/02
|
 |
Clear the way
Mike Phillips was going about 125 MPH when I hit a
stop. yes, its flying! Another outstanding crash sent in!
10/10 29/6/02
|
 |
Gatwick Express
I think Flob didn't realise the Gatwick Express stops at
the station for passengers to get on their flights and not just make the train
go up a hill and fly
8/10 29/6/02
|
 |
No penguins, No Gimmicks,
Just a Eurostar in a field.
Sean Geoghegan sent in this rather ammusing Eurostar
crash... good work I say.
9/10 23/6/02
|

|
3 Som
Thomas crashed the Thalys from the TGV Addon three times,
near Ashford, St. Anton and Coswig (eastern germany). If at first you dont succeed
then crash... crash again.
9/10 16/6/02
|
 |
Stacked
I think this was a Via AMD103 and the pseudo-LRCs, I hit
the buffer
and that's where they came to rest!
10/10 15/6/02
|
 |
Sinking F40
First one happened on Sea View 2, was backing down a new siding and didn't
realize it was actually boat-launching ramp.
9/10 15/6/02
|
 |
BREAKTHRU
Thomas sent this train through a small wall... A
Queen tribute maybe?
8/10 30/5/02
|
 |
Flying
Banana
Ed Fielden: Pummeling along at 148 miles per hour
on the North East Corridor route with the trusty old Blue 'n' Grey HST, I
discovered F8, the switch controller. 1 click, and, erm, bang. Went up a dead
end, and was amazed to see the HST fly into the air. Spectacular.

Dash Derailments
Andrew Pendleton likes derailments and these are another
two of his series he sent in. This time the Dash9 comes off the tracks in style.
7/10 20/5/02
|

 |
The Acela on the
cake
Two more derailments from Andrew Pendleton who did a fine
job of taking out most of the main line with one of them
8/10 20/5/02
|

 |
Scotsrail
Andrew Pendleton emailed me a couple of interesting Flying
Scotsman derailments. The last one from the medical emergency act... now whose
in trouble.
7/10 20/5/02
|

 |
River rapids
Thomas has sent in a nice crash with a RhB-502 on the
Alubla Line in a station, where a nice river flows. I think he likes
rivers :)
8/10 7/5/02
|
 |
Desert Death
Crash
Daryl showed us what he can do with a freight train in the
new desert route. Considering the weight of those trucks this is a great crash.
8/10 7/5/02
|
 |
40 Crash
Flob found out why 2x Class 40's have to slow down onto
sidings, as this happens.
8/10 24/4/02
|
 |
Journey to the
centre of the earth
Flob gets into the APT-E and ends up digging into the
ground.

A real Zeppelin
A german guy constructed a Zeppelin who drives like a loco - 100 meters above
earth. There are different views and you can "crash" the Zeppelin like
a train, because he uses the route below as his track. This is a lot like the
helecopter you can get, but I think it looks much better. One thing... what
happens when it goes through a tunnel?
9/10 20/4/02
|
 |
NSE vs SR
Im still not certain what actually happened here. My South
Central CIG was running at 80 odd down a straight when a Network South East 465
came in the opposite direction at about the same speed. The next thing I see is
coaches bouncing around the country side of the ECML route.
8/10 17/4/02
|

 |
High Speed TGV
Aerosoft published in Germany the addon "High Speed Trains", the
route from Kassel to Fulda built for ICE an other fast DB-trains. Thomas tried
to drive real fast with a TGV and that was the result!
9/10 10/4/02
|

 |
Zeppelin
A new addon in germany is out and a really strange train called "Schienenzeppelin"
- used on the route Hamburg - Berlin before WW II - is added. Thomas then tried
to crash it on the Rheintal-route an suceeded (pic 1 and 2). The third pic is
from the Albula-Line in the station of Bergruen - a little accident with the
same loco.
7/10 10/4/02
|

 |
The not so
Advanced Passenger Train
Tom and Flob quickly got hold of the BR APT-E (Advanced
Passenger Train - Experimental) and did some quick test runs. Both proved why
they should not of been on the original test crew.
The first pic is just a very funny one of the textures of
the train. That bloke looks funny and very silly in the sim when the train is
racing along at 150mph.
The others are crashes we both did. Good work if I dont
say so myself
10/10 10/4/02
|
 |
MSTS Bug
I love it when we see errors in MSTS and Thomas has got
another great one here.
The bottom-glass-picture is taken with the same loco (VT
137) on the ProTrain-Route from Köln-Deutz over the bridge across river Rhine.
8/10 5/4/02
|

 |
Spinning VT
Thomas found a new engine named VT 137. This loco can fly
a little bit on the "Vogelsberg route" - the translation to english is
"Birdmountain route" - a route in the middle of Germany not far away
from Frankfurt.
8/10 5/4/02
|

|
Tight Speed Limit
Flob found on the Caldervale route a tunnel with where the
line speed is 65mph
67+ will produce spectacular flying results through the
top of the tunnel , with the train happily carrying on.
Im not quite sure why he has crashed the helicopter, but
still.
9/10 1/4/02
|

 |
Strange
Thomas was testing 2 new locos on the Albula line and got some very odd
results including these 2 tunnel crashes. We have only seen this camera angle
once before (Tight Squeeze, our 2nd crash).
10/10 25/3/02
|

|
Just
messing about on the river
Thomas got the new Swiss engine from the Rhätische Bahn and had a
little crash, ending up with the the engine in a river besides the track of the
Albula Route in Swizerland.
9/10 19/3/02
|
 |
The old forest
The old Intercity livery class 91 decided to fly
off the track into the nearest wood.
7/10 17/3/02 |

 |
Another
very bad day at the office
First the train crashes when going to fast into a
station on the Pro Train route in the Rhine Valley. Not only does it roll over
it also obstructs the other track, just in time for another train to smash into
it. Perfect. Go Thomas!
10/10 17/3/02
|
 |
Ladies
and gentlemen we shall shortly be arriving at Leeds... ohh no we wont
Tom had a look at the Manchester-Leeds route and
found Leeds station, at 150mph, then found a buffer stop
7/10 17/3/02 |
 |
Rocket
Thomas Seifert proved yet again that trains can
fly, this one heads to the sun.
9/10 3/3/02 |
 |
Flammable
Tom was testing the class 20 when this happend.
Yes there is a train in there somewhere, before it fell through the floor!?!
8/10 27/2/02 |
 |
Detached
Tom thought it would be good to uncouple a 125 at
145mph before hitting a siding. This time it was intentional!
7/10 23/2/02 |

 |
Oil
Slick
Tom drove this BNSF Dash 9 with 50 tankers at
high speed. It was the explore route and it drove him direct into a wall at the
end of a siding with no warning... BOOM.
9/10 23/2/02 |
 |
Bendy
Flob soon learns that the sea route is not a good
place to test long trains. Now he has to go back and collect those
3/10 23/2/02 |
 |
Lorry in
the sea
Nuff said
7/10 23/2/02 |
 |
Another
bad day at the office
Flob shows that if its going to go wrong... its
going to go wrong in style. Not a lot better than a fast sinking Virgin 47
9/10 23/2/02 |

 |
Need a
crane?
Tom decided to make good use of the break down
crane, by seeing if it crashed and because of the difference in weight of the
parts (The extra buffers, crane holder and the actual crane) pieces flew off and
the crane just tipped back after the class 37 hit it at 100mph!
8/10 21/2/02 |

 |
Fly
Maerklin fly
This crash on the Albula Route happened with an E
152 painted in the colours of "Maerklin", a famous German producer of
Railroad Models. Another great crash from Thomas Seifert , who really is making
my e-mails a joy to open.
10/10 21/2/02 |

 |
Hurling
Flob decided to find a nice siding and have a nice run
up... into the buffers and over the embankment, to create some chaos with... a
class 67, the HST and the Flying Scotsman.
8/10 13/2/02 |

 |
TGV on a roll
Thomas Seifert took his TGV on the Innsbruck-St. Anton line and had a close
inspection of the... mountainside and towns.
8/10 11/2/02 |

 |
Albula
Both crashes are made on the "Albula Line", a very well done and
exiting route from St. Moritz (Swiss) to Filisur (Border to Italy) in the Alpes.
The first crash was done with a "Kiha" loosing some wagons falling
down from a bridge and the second with the "TGV Atlantique" crashing
the head of the train through the bridge.
Thanks to Thomas Seifert again.
9/10 5/2/02 |

 |
I want
to break free
Thomas Seifert sent in these 2 pics of the Unterland-Route and shows a great
spinning crash.
8/10 30/1/02 |
 |
43 in
the snow
The first decent crash of the 125... anyone would
think were obessed with this train, well your right :)
9/10 28/1/02 |
  |
Ohh Deer
Another one of them errors. It looks like the
deer has no where to go, but no it manages to run through the 125 and survive!
no animals were hurt during this event... unfortunately
7/10 28/1/02 |
 |
Ohh dear
Flob found the new East Coast Mainline route to
have a few problems, this being one of them as a 125 speeds towards this level
crossing, and does it look like that bus is about to pull out?
7/10 26/1/02 |
 |
Supercharged
Tom was playing with the light settings for the
125... back to the drawing board
6/10 26/1/02 |

 |
Bad day at work
This just shows that if its going to go wrong...
its going to go wrong in a big way. Driving the new 125 at 88mph on a 80mph
restricted track hit a corner, just as a NSE 159 DMU comes around the corner...
The 125 derails into the path of the oncoming train also at 80mph, just in front
of a viaduct. They collide head on and the rest of the 125 buckles and falls off
the viaduct narrowly missing some houses. Impressive!
10/10 25/1/02 |

 |
Euro Sun
Tom found his train of eurostars and went on a little
evening ride, trouble is he found a corner at 195mph and took off as the pics
show. Also landing on the road next to the track that he has been trying to do
to ages.
9/10 16/1/02 |
 |
Mass Euro
Tom took a train of Eurostar's and went into.. well an
office, a bridge, a house etc.
7/10 14/1/02 |
 |
Mallard Crash
Well it is the fastest steam train so it was bound to come
off the rails at some point
7/10 13/1/02 |
